Mosharaf Hossain Receives Rotary International Gold President Award

Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh | June 26, 2026 — The Annual Awards Ceremony of Rotary International Districts 64 and 65 (Bangladesh) was held on Friday at the conference hall of Hotel Sea Palace in Cox’s Bazar, bringing together more than 1,000 Rotarians from across the country.

The event recognized Rotary clubs and club presidents for their outstanding contributions to community service, humanitarian initiatives, leadership, and club performance over the past Rotary year. Awards were presented in various categories based on the clubs’ impact on society and their commitment to Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”

Among the distinguished award recipients, Rotarian Md. Mosharaf Hossain, Acting Editor of BD News Express and President of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Golden City, was honored with the prestigious Gold President Award in the Club President category. The award recognizes exceptional leadership, dedication to community development, and excellence in Rotary service.

The award was presented by PDG Ishtiaq Abiduzzaman, Country Coordinator of Rotary International Districts 64 and 65 (Bangladesh), in the presence of senior Rotary leaders and members from across the nation.
