Actors Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur are once again in the spotlight amid fresh marriage rumours. According to media reports, the two, who have been speculated to be in a relationship for some time, are said to be planning to take the next step.
A report by Free Press Journal claims that the alleged couple may tie the knot on February 14 in a private ceremony, with only close friends and family in attendance. However, neither Dhanush nor Mrunal confirmed or commented on the reports so far.
One such moment that drew attention was Dhanush’s appearance at the screening of Mrunal’s film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ last year, which sparked widespread discussion on social media.
Clearing the air over Dhanush’s presence at the event, Mrunal said, “Dhanush attended the Son of Sardaar 2 event. No one should misunderstand that. It was Ajay Devgn who invited him,” reports NDTV.
In an interview cited by Only Kollywood, Mrunal asserted that they are good friends only. “Dhanush is just a good friend to me,” said Mrunal.
Before the ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ screening, Mrunal was seen attending the wrap-up party of Dhanush’s upcoming film ‘Tere Ishq Mein.’
Videos showing the two actors interacting at different events have since gone viral on social media, further fuelling speculation about their relationship.
