North South University Alumni Association (NSUAA) hosts a blissful evening of gathering to share the tranquility, togetherness and blessings of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was organised in the heart of Dhaka city on 18th March at the Crystal Palace, Gulshan Club.

NSUAA is a distinguished association formed by the alumni of North South University. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant and influential global network, bringing together more than 50,000 alumni who actively connect, collaborate, and share experiences from both within the country and across the world. Along with its significant activities NSUAA continues to strengthen the bond between the alumni and the university creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration and growth. Recently, the association has taken significant strides by establishing corporate partnerships with a range of organizations such as ShareTrip, Crimson Cup, and Babuland for creating valuable opportunities and exclusive benefits for its members. These collaborations are opening new avenues for professional development, networking, and engagement
Following the successful Iftar Mahfils organized in 2024 and 2025, this year witnessed a full house at Crystal Palace, where members of the association came together to reconnect, share moments of laughter and togetherness, and spend a meaningful evening reflecting on their shared values and beliefs. The event commenced with a notable speech by Mr. Amzad Hossain, who is the NSU Alumni Association President and a CIP, currently serving as Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Deputy Secretary General of the Bangladesh Olympic Association, and a former Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished figures, including Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor of North South University and Chairman & Director of Grameen Bank; M. A. Kashem, Member of the Board of Trustees at North South University; and Aziz Al Kaiser Tito, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at North South University, former Chairman of City Bank, and Chairman of Partex Star Group. Other notable attendees included Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Primeasia University and former faculty member of NSU; Prof. Dr. Shazzad Hosain, Dean and Professor of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (SEPS); Dr. Dipak Kumar Mitra, Professor and Dean of the School of Health & Life Sciences (SHLS); and Dr. Hasan Reza, Professor and former Dean of SHLS.The distinguished speakers shared their experiences and delivered insightful addresses, highlighting the remarkable achievements of North South University and the continued success of its alumni community.
The event was successfully organized by the NSUAA convening committee under the leadership of Sohel Bin Azad, Member Secretary of the NSU Alumni Association, Chairman of Moto Life Bangladesh Ltd., Founder of ASSEN & Silver Edge IT, and Vice President of the Bangladesh Pharmacist Forum.

The evening stood as a heartfelt reminder of the enduring spirit and unity that define the North South University alumni community. More than just a gathering, it reflected a shared journey rooted in cherished memories, mutual respect, and a collective vision for the future. As conversations flowed and bonds were rekindled, the event beautifully captured the essence of Ramadan. With its continued efforts to connect, empower, and inspire, the NSU Alumni Association reaffirms its role as a vital bridge between the past and the future, strengthening a network that thrives not only in numbers, but also in purpose and pride.
