Under SP Tahura Jannat’s Leadership, Chattogram Railway Police Recover Snatched Mobile Phone Within Two Hours; Snatcher Arrested

August 8, 2026 | Chattogram: Under the leadership and prompt direction of Tahura Jannat, Superintendent of Police (SP), Chattogram Railway Police, the Railway Police successfully recovered a snatched mobile phone from Chattogram Railway Station within just two hours. The snatcher was also arrested and brought under legal action.
The mobile phone was snatched from a passenger at Chattogram Railway Station at around 7:00 PM on August 8. Following the incident, the Railway Police immediately launched an operation to recover the phone and apprehend the person involved.
Acting on the prompt direction of SP Tahura Jannat, Nurul Huda, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chattogram Railway Police Station, along with the concerned police personnel, initiated an immediate search and recovery operation.
Through their swift and coordinated efforts, the snatched mobile phone was recovered within approximately two hours, at around 9:00 PM. The snatcher was also arrested and brought under the legal process.
The prompt leadership and effective direction of SP Tahura Jannat, along with the sincere efforts of OC Nurul Huda and the concerned police personnel, played a significant role in achieving this success within such a short time.
